well.......... i have latest up dates on antispyware... microsoft stuff innit, nortons up to date

If ya wanna keep going with I.E , i'd suggest you have a firewall in place also..Most likely you'll have to maually delete this virus from your registry.

boot to safe mode , put in the search box that name of the .exe virus & search it out in the registry, deleting all the names it comes up with.

then right click my comp./ prperties/ sys rest. tab/ turn off system restore. then delete all files in the pre-fetch folder in the windows folder.

that should take care of it....Let's hope.

i dont use IE i have my ie 2, but it happens with all browsers, i have a firewall

isnt there another way of getting rid of the IE thing, i hate changing browsers and stop posting fire fox
