Not always.. the US economy is doing pretty good right now, and the global economy is struggling in South East Asia (because of tsunami) and in Europe (because of inefficient government tax codes). It seems the US economy is now outpacing the glboal economy.
US economy is slowly recovering. It worsened when the war in Iraq started, even though Bush stated that the economy will boost up... The US Dollar has been weak, but it's slowly recoverying. Expect lots of Europeans tourists coming to USA!

This is of course false. For several reasons: The US isn't slowly recovering. It is in a moderate boom stage at this point. It did not worsen when the war in Iraq strated, rather it boosted industrial production growth. The US Dollar is weak and that has helped exports.
If you want to discuss things at least state the facts right. 2004 was a very good year for economic growth in the US, and 2005 is looking good already..
