Hey all,
I recently formatted an old computer of mine and reinstalled win98. (I know get with the times - lol) but anyway I can't get the sound to work. The sound is built onto the mobo and win98 can't install a driver for it. Do I just need download a sound driver or do I need a chipset driver? I have downloaded plenty of audio drivers with no luck. Any suggestion to help me out?

Thanks
Tilly

Your better off updatin the chipset driver as well, as that probably isn't upto date!

is it big deal to update the chipset? Is there flashing invovled or just installing an executable file?

Thanks for your help!!
