hi i just got my new copmputer together and i installed the hard drive then it said put my os disc in and restart and i did that now it loads up and goest to that black screen the has a bunch of collums and at the bottom a message pops up and says os error and it dose this on all the cds i try to boot up what the hell is wrong

is the boot sewunce in the right order, is the cd booting before the hdd? check in ur bios settings

check advanced tab or something. To get to bios press delete or something at the beginning.

When it goes into that black screen at the start up thingy press delete, not backspace. Then itl come to a blue screen and then go to boot order or something similar to that, then make the cd drive boot first and then the HDD.
