AMD vs Intel vs Apple (NO FLAMING!!!!)

Gateway, Hp and almost emachines are great comps for the price.

Compaqs, and Dells are the worst brands avialable... :O

eMachines has gotten much better if you guys didn't know that. They were purchased by Gateway, and their AMD64 Laptops PWN for the price! WIth Radeon 64MB 9700 Portable Graphics and AMD 3200+ Mobile with 1GB RAM, eMachines are getting VERY competitive.

Yeah, eMachines has gottern wayyy better than it used to be.

Yeah, Gateway are very good. Too bad Intel pays them not to use AMD. I would really think highly of them then.

Haha; nobody pays them to not use AMD. They don't. Contracts may be in place; but certainly not for this long if they wanted to use AMD. Even with Contracts; they can release different builds with AMD, and keep the contracted builds with Intel.

They do look quite nice. The Budget ones aren't so nice though. All the Towers are really nice though. The XPS is damn good, especially with Double Memory Free.

yeah, i saw the xps it does look really nice with the blue led's and all that, shame it's only available with a p4 instead of an amd 64 chip

ah drop the no 64 bit chip, The Pentium 4 will serve all there needs including gaming.. no need to go overboard
