Best Laptop?

I'm confused, I wanted the Dell Inspiron 5150, but then I found out they had heat probs. Is Intel the better way to go or is in AMD for laptops, and what type of laptop might be best for movie making, movie playing, music playing, and cd burning?

Problem is, you have to get a very warrentified/trusted site. I haven't had any problems with my dell, but if you want quality, for for IBM (Do they still sell their Laptop models?)

I reccomend the samsund M40, i have had one for about 3 weeks now and have not had any problems.

Thanks guys, I think I know what I mainly want in my laptop now:
AMD processor 3 Ghz or more
512 MB RAM (upgradeable to at least 1 GB)
DVD ROM/CD writer Drive
32 MB (maybe 64 MB) video card
at least 40 GB hdd
at least 15" screen (any type)
price: anything under $1,000
Although I'm not gaming on it I still want it fast.

Hahahahaa 3 ghz AMD? No, you won't find that. Speed isn't the only factor you know...

Under 1000? I'm not sure. Since you won't be able to afford a good IBM laptop, I would go with a dell, because at least then you have insurance if something happens.

ok thanks, I'll try to see what I can find that is good from dell, but I would like something that doesn't over heat.

Well, it's not supposed to.. I've never had any bad problems with mine.
