personally I would never spend 3,000$ on a first build but thats just me hopefully you have someone who can look over your stuff and make sure its ok.

oh btw if this is your first build and you have no experience building one at all i would have someone who has standing behind you so you dont screw somethign up...when i built my friends a little while ago i double checked everything to make sure nothing would fry

ok, lol, zen has discussed this before, sli isnt all its put up to be, cuz not all apps can even make use of it, so i would go with that mobo, but insted of gettin 2 of those gfx cards get ONE ati x850 XT platinum edition, i believe it scores even or better than 2x 6800GT's and it should be around the same cost

i doubt it scores better then 2 6800gts but possibly around the same as 2 6600gts.
