Offen when I boot my system I have to hit the reset button in order to get the monitor to switch over from standbye?

What could be causing this action to happen > I think somewhere along the lines of the video card ?

Thanks

heh.. I used to have that problem too. I had to hit power then reset for it to work. :p I never found out the problem but it wasn't my video card nor the monitor.

Thank's > hopefully there is someone out there with the similar problem and we could get a better idea to what is causing that at times...

Have you checked in devise manager/ then in the monitor properties settings ? you should be able to tell

the comp. to wake the monitor by the move of your mouse, just like a screen saver.

Most newer monitor's have their own built in screen saver, & the move of the mouse brings it out of hibernation, this setting might be on your monitor too.
