Why wouldn't it be safe? A larger ps just allows more output altogether. It still puts out the same 20v or 12v etc per plug. A larger drive just allows for more devices to be plugged in. That's all Feel free to go up to 680W if you want.

I use Nero 6 Ultra Edition but I've never "bought" any software *wink* but I prefer it over WMP as there are more options as well as other applications that come with it as well.

The big advantage of Nero over Microsoft is that with Nero you will be able to copy a wav cd and Nero will go and get the songs and album title on the next.
Also Nero inspects your mp3 files before burning them and will also acess a database to get the song titles. And Nero does a lot that WMP cannot even come close.
......as for the power supply question, better buy it before you don't find them anymore.
