oh, hmmmmm try putting ur old fan back on and see if it will start up, if it will then the new fan is prolly using too much pwr, some times, like on my moms compaq u had to have just the right kina fan plugged into the cpu fan slot or else it would give a error and wouldnt start up, saying it didnt have a fan, even tho it did, and yes, there are normally more than 1 fan connectors on teh mobo, just look all over teh mobo u will find another one
