ok, same computer, i was installing direct x9 and the computer highered my display, so now my screen is black saying OUT OF RANGE if someone can help me, and tell me what to do.

I'm guessing lcd monitor...althoguh maybe not..turn down the refresh rates and that should fix it..happened to me christmas day when i tried to hook up my LCD monitor

no its regular moniter and i cant change it because the screen is black and i cant change it any more on the moniter.

can you get ahold of a friends monitor???...or if you have a tv out on ur computer you could run a video cable from the computer to your tv and then adjust it like that

yeah man im just gonna get a diffrent moniter this one is way too old, i would use the s-video but my t.v aint got one ohh well, thanks for the help.

Yeah; generally it will reset unless you pressed Enter by Accident? Strange.
