LIMEWIRE Problem

I've had Limewire Pro 4.0.5 for a few months now but yesterday when I double clicked the Limewire icon nothing happened apart from an egg timer which shows up for 2 seconds.
Its never not loaded up before and I was using it fine just 2 days ago.
Anyone know whats the prob?

Try re-installing, and run ad-aware and virus scans

eww i hate limewire..my friend had that problem..only difference was his computer was a 1998 imac G3 with a 233mhz cpu..lol and it froze all the time..so it may not have been the program, I say get BEARSHARE, i love it and i can get 3.3mb download times on Cable internet

would you guys say limewire is better than bearshare??? because if it is i'm switching...right now when you download bearshare you also get "save" and "weather forecast". i've never seen limewire on a good computer...maybe i should check it out

It has more files, generally, and is a little faster notibably - better GUI.

Try downloading another version of the Pro - unless you brought it? In which case ask support.
