hey this is probably a weird thing to ask but how many cable channels do you have in england?

six... maybe seven hundred? probably more like eight hundred. But its Sky - not Cable.

bbc 1, bbc 2, ITV, channel 4, and channel 5!

Channel Two (Just Plain Stuff)
Channel Three (Just More Plain Stuff)
Channel Four A.K.A C4 (Music Nearly 24/7 The Other Time Is Infomercial EVIL EVIL!!!)
Triangle Tv (Stuff like Indian, French and German stuff come on here)
Prime (I think it comes from Australia)
Jucie TV (24/7 Music)
Maori TV (A channel that uses a lot of Maori...)

ah, i was just wondering. Here I have 510 cable channels.
Nothing ever on though.

EDIT > Plus I can get a good discount on a Free To Air satellite dish.
You aim it at an existing network or live broadcast satellite, download some software and voila free satellite. And its not illegal as long as you are watching another country's satellite. Its only illegal to watch your own country's satellite networks with a hacked card.

Yeah; there isn't Cable in my kind of area though or I'd have Internet through it. There are around 800 Channels on Sky? Ish... I somewhere between 700 and 800.
