The Celeron D is more up to date - its going to be cheaper because its a budget and faster because its more up-to-date. And of course - it beats Semprons.

Game play - nobody buys a 2200 to play games.

Haha, you do make me laugh! I don't even know where you got those from but I can't find them even on Anandtech - and they love AMD.

I can't put anymore of these on - only 5 Images; but the rest of the damning Benchmarks are here so you can look at the rest if you're interested.

The Celeron D 335 costs only $113 - the AMD Athlon 2600, which is the only thing there that consistantly beats the Celeron D costs $120 - and even then it only beats it 2 times in those 5 - the other time a 2500 beats them all, which is strange but yeah, lol.
