Microsoft Works problem

I am having a problem with my Microsoft Works, when I open the program, I have to go to G Drive, go to Group Data, then a few other files to get to my spreadsheets which is not a problem, but once I close one spreadsheet it closes all of Microsoft, so if I want to open another spreadsheet in Works, I have to go through the same process G Drive, Group Data etc.
Somebody please help quickly....

what is G Drive? is it a Flash Drive?

just close the document, not the program

the g drive is probably just another partition on his hard drive, or maybe another hard drive altogether

G drive is actually shared network drive.

I was thinking that. You need to go into the settings and make the file sharing turn off. Go into help and type in network or sharing. Then find the subject on how to turn it off. Or go to www.microsoft.com for a bit more help. I don't have my PC networked, so honestly, I am not quite sure how to solve this problem. However, it should be similar to how you share data with a second HD or partition, which I DO do. GL!
