does anyone use???????

if u have multiple OS's like 2 windows xp they can both be on either but if u have win xp and win 98 then 98 has to be on FAT32 and xp on ntfs

Yes, you are given the option of choosing which format you are going to use, but if you have a very large hard disk as mentioned you will be limited in size, so you may need to partition you disk drive in smaller parts. Also if you want to create a backup of your computer, in fat32 you are limited to 4 Gig, while in NTFS, no limit that I know of.

thanks thats what i ment to say :(

NTFS is faster as well, and disk fragmenting doesnt happen as much, but FAT32 has the best compression capabilities (besides FAT16......)
