on newegg windows xp professional with service pack 2 is $147.00 but yet look on bestbuy.com its $300.00 w/o service pack 2 and the one on newegg says OEM and i trust newegg

That is because it is OEM... I can get it for 79.99 on my BestBuy discount, but that is a GREAT PRICE NEVERTHELESS!

Yeah; it should be $137 or so - BestBuy are selling it well over, about double its actual price.

It's like anything else, if you don't shop, you might end up paying too much.
I saw RAM on special in a well known computer store, and they were (even on special) twice as much as what my small computer store sells it for.

Who would want to buy Windows retail at that price? That is very high. I always get the OEM version.

If AMD ZEN can get it at $79.99 at his discount from Best Buy, I'll give him the money and he can get it for me, heheh. Sounds good?
