Hi,

maybe I'm thinking too simply here ... but

Have your CMOS settings changed ?

It might be an idea to check your set-up (reboot and tap DELETE as it restarts, you have to be quick), look in CMOS features and just check that your Primary Master is your Hard Drive and not your CD Drive.

Hope this helps

or just go to bios and make shure your hhd is set to load 3rd on the bootup order....example:

1st boot is CD drive
2nd boot is floppy
3rd is hhd
4th *this is optional>> USB *

hi man, check your bios settings and change the boot device priority...if it dsent work out tghen try the automatic repair console in win XP by putting the CD and booting from it..

Same happened to me My friend ran Windows PE from one drive and then botted and installed XP Fresh from a disc in the other drive.
