scanner issue

i need to know if a compaq computer and a hewitt packard scanner can be connected. also what would i need to do to get the scanner to work with the computer do i need any special drivers please email me an answer terri61@hotmail.com or reply to this post.

yes it should be able to be connected to that computer, and you will need the drivers and software that came with the scanner

Any brand should works with any brand and the scanner should come with a CD to install it

Try pluging it into your computer and the power plug and turn it on while your computer is on (It might auto install)

yeah see if it does that...or you can go to HP's website and see if they have downloads for the drivers and software

what is your model number and all that?

go to that site and click on fax, copiers and scanners, then on the left side of the page down a little click on support and drivers, and on that page you can type in the name and model number or you can select it from lists
