as long as the volcano is intended for the socket that your cpu is...you won't have any probs with it. and as for connecting it to your nexus, just plug in the 3 pin connector to one of the controllers on the back of the fan speed controller
First time I installed it my temperature was to high made the nexus alarm go off and my bios reading was 70 c. After I removed the silicone compound that came with the cooler my temperature drop to 38 c.
I thought the compound was to help the cooler
OK guys all is well know. I added more silicone untill it cover the hole cpu and know my temperature got down to 39 C on my bios

whoa whoa.....you're not supposed to put that much thermal compound on it! Just a thin layer on the center of the cpu. are you sure you have your heatsink on the cpu the right way?
