I don't know to much on graphics cards but thought this might do the job, as I dont play power hungry games like doom or farcry. I only play rts mostly on my pc

Sapphire Radeon X600 PRO 256MB DDR PCI-Express TV-Out DVI-I Lite

total cost is about £660 as i'm not sure on the graphics card, might go with another graphics card. All suggestions welcome but I want to keep total cost round about £660

loooks good, especially the fact that one day if u ever want to play graphic hungry games, u can upgrade to two 6800gt's or summat!!! Make sure u get a good quality power supply with at least 18A on the 12v rail!!! That system is quite power hungry!

I'd ditch the cruical memory, i'd upgrade to some higher end memory, kingston, corsair and their hyperx and XMS ranges.

And you better not be using them 500w ebuyer PSU. I got one for my GF's pc, they just reboot and reboot and stopped when i reduced the voltage to the CPU.

If you can find the Powmax Demon 580 watt power supply you'll be in good hands. It is a good one. I just ordered it for my dad's computer.. and my own. It churns out a lot of power. It has two fans, one that is 120MM and another that is 80MM.

Also I'd recommend going with GeIL for memory.

Geils ok, but for that spec of a PC go a bit up! I dont think we can find Powmax stuff around UK but so far ive found Qtec ok for PSUs.

corsair baby! But ive owned cruical..and beleive me they aint good.. Corsair value sucks but the XMS rocks.. kingston is rock stable and the value line even rocks. Your choice. Both are good but ditch cruical.

definatly throw away that radeon x600 and get the geforce 6600 gt pci express. That way if you ever need intense graphics just pick another one up and use the SLI. If you dont plan on using the SLI video cards I would just suggest gettin the asus a8v deluxe mobo which is agp.
