what to buy pci card or ubs type?

Ok I whant to put vhs tapes and video taken from my video camera that uses hi 8 tapes on to dvd. What should i buy? the pci card type or the ones that connect by usb. What would give me the best video on dvd.
If you got something better let me know.

ah pci card is much better. It has more than double the speed. The USB 2.0 devices will only record at half the resolution 320x240 and a medium range pci card will run at 640x480 and will look nicer.

I have seen USB devices that record DVD quality, but I still don't trust them... PCI is better and probably cheaper
