amd zen, even if ATI did create something without a bridge piece, there would have to be other components of SLI that they would have to steal.

I think jac u should go and do wat amd zen did.
Go PCI ex, and get 2 6600 GT"s. Or you can be pretty cool and get 2 6800's.

ok soon some day ati will come out w/ there own sli bourds or the nex best think dual core. Plus there was a review and single dual core chip beat same GPU on an sli in every test>>>>

I don't really like PCI-E. I think we should have dual AGP Slot Motherboards for SLi.

Pci-Express 16x is the new wave of the future, Now w/ SLI, It splits the 16x to two 8x, the speed of the fastest agp port, now if you wanted to go w/ dual 8x agp then you would go down to 2 4x agp, now the preformance gain would not outway the price.

Hmmm... they should make better AGP Ports then Ones for SLi which doesn't cut out bandwidth upon usage. If one port has the speed... why can't both have the speed at the same time?
