good day!

im trying to restrict certain accounts on using the IE. since i am using win2k on the workstations, i tried this one:

1. went to "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\" , right click on this
folder then Properties
2. clicked on the "Security Tab" then on the local users, i checked
the "List Folder Contents" as "Allow"
3. then i added a account that authenticates on the network server
and checked the boxes "Read & Execute", "List Folder Contents"
and "Read".
when i do this on certain programs, i can get the restriction running
but on the IE, the user account that i want to restrict can still
run it.

anybody know about this??? thanks.

You can password lock sites out? I don't know much about the Workstation Windows 2000, but as far as I do know I didn't think you could give allowances for User Account... its an XP thing isn't it?

website blocking takes so much hassle because im using win2k.....it would be better if i control it from the profile instead.....
