Gettin OLD

My Computer I feel is getting very old Its specs are in my signature only I typed the wrong RAM its RD. I find Its very low on RAM and Im not going to purchase more but usually when my computer is low on ram i will just restart and alls fine but now When its low on ram it starts messin w/ my internet connection. This sux its so sensitive but when this cmputer came out it was fairly decent. any suggestions discluding new or more hardware

buy more ram?
also you could overclock your processor if its a pentium 4 northwood.

i would buy more ram and get the highest processor your mobo will support
