Games Stuttering.. problems with settings?

OK this is everything i currently have in my computer

MSI K8N Neo Mobo
Althon 64 3200+
6800 OC (128 meg)
1 gig (2 512 sticks) of pc3200 DDR 400 ram. (set at 200 mhz)
Microsoft Wireless G PCI card
Turtle Beach 5.1 sound card


Now when i play my games it randomly stutters and its really anoying

this is happening in half life 2 counter strike source UT2004 and some others.


The only bios setting i have changed is 512 ram available for graphics in advanced chipset features........ what could be happening

oh and i have the most current nvidia drivers (67.02 betas) and DirectX 9.0c

The only thing I can think of would be those beta drivers.

Yes change the drivers mempf is most likely correct

actually they say at the half life 2 website to use them

Have u tried some non beta drivers anyway?

What settings are u running the games on?, and by OC next to the 6800 i presume u mean Overclocked so have u tried it without an overclock?

I would like to try without the overclock but unfortunatly the video card comes overclocked and i dont know how to drop it to its regular stats. It comes overclocked at 350 mhz and it says standerd is 325. And yes i used it for awhile without betas and i still had the same problem. Basically the game will play for a little while then freeze with audio loop for like 5 seconds then unfreeze.
