need help chosing video card

What video card should i get for my new system. mainly going to be playing counterstrike source though. Im thinkin the 6600 gt , the normal 6800, or the 9800 pro. Pretty sure im going to be going with an agp mobo unless the pci express SLI mobo is better with only 1 card.

he said he was going to go with agp not pci-e. Might want to choose a 6600GT AGP. the 6800 is better than the 6600GT though.

Sorry, my bad. Yeah, the MSI one looks good for the AGP. It's higher priced than the PCIe though, so that's a little strange. I would think the AGP would be cheaper being an older technology.

I tried posting the link previously but got mixed up in my windows. I've got like 20 Newegg windows open (trying to view all the parts I plan on getting) and I'm trying to find which is what. I've got like 2 MSI video cards, one AGP and one PCIe and misposted the wrong link. I wish I can go back and delete some of the mispost, but can't.

can someone show me the best 6800 I can get for around 250$ or the best card I can get for around 250$. It must be agp since I just ordered my mobo/procesor.

go with the 6600gt by msi the agp model, it has faster ram speeds than the 6800Gt and the mem speeds are faster too, look at my previous post, the new egg link is rite here

lol...the 6800 is 256bit compared to the 128bit by the 6600Gt. It has been proven that core and mem speeds dont mean everything. If it is, the how can AMD keep up with Intel?
