Taking a proccessor out

Hey,

I'm having a lot of trouble taking out a proccessor. Mine is an AMD AThlon 800mhz proccessor. People say it is simple, Just undo the clamp and it slides out. But when I open my case up and remove the little fan, (I undo the four screws, and disconnect the little wirefrom the motherboard) All I see is a big square thing. At two of the sides I can see two silver long things. What do I do with these, Pull them, push them, what?!?!

If theres two long silver things you should just have to Pull them to a vertical position and then your processer should just slip out

when you take out the clips it takes out the heatsink not the processer

oh i never knew s/he was talking about the clips on the heatsink
