hey i still have my pentium 1 computer, (got it when i was 6 like) but im sure if i put back the floppy drive and cd drive and plugged the old modem in i could browse this site! That case used to be good lol

This hideous creature of fashion is my computer case.

This monstrosity houses:
an Athlon XP 3000+
a nforce2 chipset
a XFX Geforce 6800 NU
SoundBlaster Audigy 2
and a 520 watt 3 fan silent mode PSU.

for all of you that wish to yell at me about not posting this in the case gallery that thread has not been about showcasing cases in months.

I think that case might look decent if you put some paint to it, add some color, at least if you don't feel like buying a new case. my case was butt ugly before I panted it....now look at it

just about a weekend, although the computer was apart for about 2 weeks till I actually got some time to do it...lol

yeah, I cut the hole in the top myself for the blowhole fan and the thermaltake grill, I don't know if you can see it in any of those pics

And just a question where are the side panels?

well its one of thoughs wrap around side panels and I just got sick of puting it on and taking it off expecially with the case being so sharp that I just desided to turn the side panels into a drink holder next to my chair.

as for the floppy drive I have not used that in over 5 years and they just corrupt themselves anways so I got rid of it and used the extra space to store cables and besides if I stuck a floppy drive in there I am pretty sure atleast one of my hard drives would crash with the addition of so much less space above them. I mean you can see in the picture they are already really close together.

as for buying a new case well when I orginally bought this computer and all its components I bought a cheap atx case but the dang thing was too small and I was always overheating so I went dumpster driving one day and found this case and it seemed just right and so I have kept it through the years. but as the PSU gets bigger my room gets smaller to work. I mean theres a 50/50 chance I will slice open my fingers when I work on the dvd and cd rom drives. so when I finally do decide I want to get a new case I will know exactly what to look for and I will make sure I carry a cucumber with me to test the case edges. Becouse despite the lack of length this case actually has some really cool features that even modern ones dont even have. such as the fact that the motherboard and everything can slide out the back of the case so you dont have to stick your fingers in there if you are not working on the cd-roms.
