Hey thanks djvbond, what kind of computer do you have currently? This sucker of mine has a great massive fan cooling the CPU die, but unfortunately, i havent a chassis fan installed at the rear, only a exhaust fan :( but i will get a nice chassis fan to drill away the heat!!!!! :D

Yes, I did have the SBLive 5.1 not 24 Bit (was with system) and Geforce 4 MX 440SE (Which is Unbelevably shit), It does on a horrid system, are you thinking of Upgrading to A Geforce FX 5900XT/SE? becuase for around the £125-130quid mark, you cant go wrong, the only thing that is not available at that price is the games bundle, who wants the game bundle anyways!, this baby of a card is awesome and you get at least 22GB/s data bandwith comparedto the Geforce 4 MX 440 @ 6.4GB/s!, The Graphics are awesome on this Graphics card, it is fast, and for a mid-budget card, you cant go wrong!

Yeah, go with the 5900XT. Its a good card for the price you pay.

EDIT>>> The 5950XT is a very good card too, if you can afford it.

i uped from an old compaq
athlon 64 3200+ @ 2ghz, mobo aint good for oc i dun think
msi k8neo 2 plat
gig ram
massive heatsink and 92 mm vantec tornado for cpu

radeon 9700 pro
audigy gamer

i guess thats a good system, i got the case cpu fan heatsink mobo ps vga cooler for bout 700
i used sound, vid, and hdd from old comp runs nice

I'm very satisfied with my computer set-up. It is upper medium range. IT isn't the best, but is damn good. My CPU does fine at 2.2GHz (why get a 3200 or 3400 even?). Socket 754 is just fine for me. My motherboard is great.. just awesome. The Video card is great.. one hell of an overclocker.. BFG never fails me and with its life time warranty. The Audigy 2 Value I got on Ebay for $40... nice and cheap. Nice for my incoming Logitech Z-680 THX ceritified 5.1 speaker solution with 500 watts of nail biting power. I'm satisfied with the amount of ram. IT is more then enough for any game that I throw at it (including Far Cry and Doom 3). No complaints. It is all good. My computer is way ahead of any requirements for any games I play.
