Do i need AGP to get a new vid card

If you have no AGP slot and don't want to get a new board, the best you can do is the Nvidia FX5700LE.

its a half descent card but not if u want to play hl2 and doom 3, i had to go to the 9800 pro

hmm well geforces are better then radeons but usually geforces are only good with agp, well thats what i discovered and my friend has a radeon for pci and i think it was a 9200 series and it was garbage, my AGP GeForce FX 5500 256 mb video card was better, you shouldnt get a new motherboard unless you want a new cpu, for now buy a 128 mb radeon pci video card cuz personally i think that radeons are better for pci n geforce is better for agp...here in canada i can get you a 128 mb radeon for about 109.99...
