Hey i'm a Junior and i've been trying to think what field of computers to go in becuase i love computers in general (web design, graphic design, programming, computer repair etc. etc. etc.) So what do you guys think by the time i get outta college will be something iw ill be able to find jobs in preferably in East Coast but obviously i will not be too picky but what do you think will be overpacked fields etc. etc. any comments and suggestions would be appreciated :)

graphics design and website design has one of the highest demands ever in history, and its expected to stay that way. People who fix comptuers is a very over-populated job. Also computer programmers who know like c++ are greatly in demand, and because of the difficulty of the subject, its also expected to stay that way.

So you say Programming and Web/Graphic Design are going to be in demand... i'm not worried about amount of mony coming in becuase any computer job that i consider wil probaly be one with enough to suport i am not looking to be rich i just love computers.

Also those are the main thigns i'm thinking of if you have any other carrer with computers suggestions besides Making the chips themselves becuase i think that would be tood etailed then please tell me... and thanks for your input on computer repair and i do understand :)

making the chips would involve getting an engineering degree in somellike nano technologies otherewise the chips are made by computers, machines adn assembly line(whihc isnt really anything to do with computers)

repair is also going out of business with huge chains like best buy with unlimited renvenue and customers so competeing is very difficult in the repair industry, because of their profits they can fix and restore computers at a lower cost, faster and mbye not as effectively but quicker than the average joe computer shop tha has 1 emplyee working overtime

I am going into chip design and engineering, join me on the AMD side young one!! I am a senior in HS, and will be going to Purdue University, and then moving to AMDs largest plant in Dresden, Germany. PS- I speak fluent Deutsch.

I think chip design would be toot technical for me and i love computer repair but it is easy and getting replaced by faster and cheaper places that pay less also and charge a litlte less than the Good computer repair. So i'm thinking graphic, web design with some other stuff idk something computers suggestions on the fields i HAVEN"T said would be a help becuase i don't know all the types of jobs out there for computer areas.

If you love everything about computers, you should look into getting a job as an IT Specialist. THey do everything from computer troubleshooting, programming, databases, and networking.

IS that like a college thing and then it like enables you and says you can do all this stuff.... and how long would that take to complete... how's that work is what i'm saying bascially?
