hey does the hard drive affect the performance of the computer or is it just like a storage thing and thats all, just wanting to know thanx.

If you have only one hard drive and its full of stuff. It will really slow you down. But if you have another hard driv, and you stick your stuff on that when your operating system boots up It wont H=he as much to deal with. (I think....)

true, but it can effect downloading each page when you visit any page, to make this faster go to internet explorer then go to tools, internet options, setting then lower your disk space this should then be faster at downloading pages.

Also, the faster the tranfer rate of the HD, the faster the computer goes. SATA is great for speed, and RAID configurations (RAID 0) speed up the PC as well. Also, RPM makes a difference. That involves access time, and the faster a HD spins, the shorter the access time is, which BTW is good.

BTW, Cobra, why are you still using Internet Explorer...................... EEEK! IE suks, and if anyone is still using it, go here and help yourself out!
