hi i need help picking out a new video cards these are the 2

ATi Radeon 9200 256M 8xAGP Video Card

nVIDIA GeForce FX 5700 LE 256MB AGP Video Card TV/DVI


my specs are


Motherboard:Asus A7V600-X VIA KT600 FSB400/333 DDR400 S-ATA RAID USB 2.0
CPU: AMD Athlon XP 2600+ 333FSB Retail
CPU FAN: Thermaltake A1390 (Volcano 8)
AGP: AGP8X (AGP 3.0) is the next generation VGA interface
Sound: ADI AD1888 6-channel CODEC S/PDIF out interface
Lan: Built-in 10/100 Base T Network Card
USB: x 6 2.0

so which onbe do you think will run better

get the radeon 9550 256mb instead its at least tied with the 5700LE i would go nvidia its got a way highgher cloack speed

i would go with the geforce 5700 because i had the radeon 9200 and i hated the thing, plus the 5700 is much better than the 9200

The 9200 is horrible compared to the 5700LE. Definatly, definatly go with nVidia on this one.

Both are bad, but I guess if it HAD to be one of them then I would go with the 5700LE, but really I think you should just get the 9600XT, or maybe even the Pro.

Exactly what I was thinking. I dunno maybe you just don't understand what a bottleneck really is, which is fine, cuz that statement really doesn't make sense.

nah i dont really but i heard somewhere that 5700 bottleneks something or some sh!t and reduces how much the card actually does
