radeon 7000 help

alright guys, another great newbie question from your's truelly. Alright, i got a abit motherboard with a built in video card. I have a radeon 7000 video card, and i wanted to put it in so i can use an svideo cord to my tv. The problem is that the mouse is kinda lagging and stuff like that. Im not sure if it hasnt just been in long enough or if its conflicting with my other card or whatever. Should i disable the built in one or what? i just need some help. thanks

Yeah, disable the Integrated video card. Go to BIOS (press Delete, at boot-up) and disable the Integrated vidoe card. Then install all your regular video card's driver (if nesessary) and game on!

alright, i havent turned it off yet, but it seems to run just great... should i still do this? If i do it wrong wont it never work? like if the card i got doesnt work? im just a little nervous i guess...
