question on temperatures

ok I just installed a nexus multi functional panel for my cpu.
I installed the temperature sensors as per the instruction. Now my tempearture is 10 c diff. like the panel will read 39 c but when i go to bios is will show 49c. Should I believe the mother board or the panel?

The panel is probably giving the readout form the ambient temp from inside you case.

The 49C on your motherboard is most likely the accurate one for your CPU.

Can be the case temp. The panel came with 3 sensors one for the cpu and for the hdd and one for the case. The case reads 27 c. SHould i just install the cpu sensor on top of the cpu?
My nexus book says to put it close to it but not on top

Well thats the problem with those sensors. they wont be as acurate as your motherboard though.
