I'm extremely new to the idea, and I'm doing quite well I believe, until this point.
This is what I am intending on purchasing:
Motherboard-
Shuttle "AN35N-Ultra" nForce2 Ultra 400 Chipset Motherboard for AMD Socket A CPU
LINK: http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=13-150-045&depa=1
Memory-
Corsair Value Select Dual Channel Kit 184 Pin 1G(512MBx2) DDR PC-3200
LINK: http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproductdesc.asp?description=20-145-480&DEPA=1
Now, I know nothing about Dual Channel memory and the like at all. My friend gave me a rushed explanation, and said that it'll work fine together. He said the sticks would just act as 1GB of memory together, and that'd be it, no questions asked. I'm wondering if this will work fine. It is a budget system if anyone is wondering, but I'd really like to get 1GB of memory for pretty cheap. Thanks for any help guys. Sorry for the "newbie" questions.
