that's an intel board and the graphics interface is AGP. You may need to edit your list above to get new processor and video card to fit this new board.

I thought you didnt want an AMD CPU?

I wouldnt get the SLI motherboard though. You will save some money going with Intel.

This is the board I may get since the Gigabyte PCIe supported board isn't available:

ASUS "A8V Deluxe" VIA K8T800 Pro Chipset Motherboard For AMD Socket 939
http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=13-131-510&depa=1

It comes loaded with a bunch of cables and just so pretty. I like how the socket is farther away from the AGP slot. Plus the Promise RAID controllers are one of the best. It's got 5 star ratings by everyone that posted a comment. Looks like a great board for the Athlon 64 3200. What do you guys think of this one?

It uses an 8-channel Realtek audio. I guess that's good too. Sounds good. Plus I got room to expand to an Athlon FX in the future, hehe.

good chipset, I have the MSI one. Doesnt support PCIex, Intel ichipsets are the only PCiex boards on the market cuz intel invented the PCiex standard thus they started using it right away and is just now making AMD use it.

Its in no way faster than AGP8x. Personally my opinion of PCIex is crap. So if you go with AMD then just get a AGP video card it will save you tons of money.

Also that ASUS board is fairly good. Its as ugly as all ASUS boards are, but oh well, it has tons of features.

RAIDMAX Black Aluminum Gaming Case with 420W Power Supply, Model "668WBP"

I never did understand why companies add the feater "Gaming" to cases and desktops. It's like....this computer is 1,800...this one is 2,000 and has the same hardware but wait...it is a gaming computer so it must be worth it.
