Will a 300w Video car work with a 200w psu

Will a 300w Video card work with a 200w psu?

I've just goten a new Video card which is a Geforce 6800 OC made by BFG and I wonted to know since I only have a 250w psu if this 300w video card would run on it?

No. 300 watt video card on a 250 watt power supply? Certainly not. You will need like 500 watts or more.

atleast 400W of a good PSU. Coolmaster, Antec or Thermaltake are the popular options.

The best is PC Power & Cooling but those things are crazy. Dang Expensive

would a larger power supply cause higher heat temps? logic is telling me more power more heat but im just checking because i dont use a single fan in my computer other than the cpu fan...it never overheats but im getting a 9800pro tomorrow
