I recently have become fed up with Microsoft and its operating system. So I would like to know if I can instal OS X on my computer, or does it have to be a computer made by apple?

I have an AMD Athlon 64 3400+, 512mb of RAM, 80 gig hdd, and a fx 5700 ultra video card.

OSX will only install on a computer made by apple. meaning you will not be able to install it on your current computer. there was talk that Apple was making an OS X for our Microsoft systems but i am not sure they are doing that anymore.

nope....if you wanna use OS-X, you'll have to buy an Apple. try Linux if you're fed up with windows

Windows isn't bad does the job, and Windows has many programs then you can not use of Apple Computers that is the only problem.

Trust me, Windows is a very good OS despite what the OpenSource and Apple people tell you.

I have a mac and have ran linux before. Overall I like OS X the best but Apple computers suck. Linux also sucks for average people. Stick with Windows.
