I bought a shuttle board on NewEgg 6 months ago and sold it back on ebay a few weeks ago, it held its value I only lost like 5 bucks.

MSI, Abit, ASUS, and Gigabyte are the best MOBO manufacturers in that order.

Any other brand is merely second rate.

Shuttle mainly makes their famous XPC cases. I gotta get one sometime, cuz I can just hear it talking to me.

yeah but those arent just cases they come with the mobo too, since shuttle mobos are the only ones that fit into XPC cases.

ASUS is known to be the most stable motherboard out there at this time. Just because you had one faulty MOBO from them doesnt mean they are all liable to fail. As for some of the problems with gigabyte, the ram slots on the new K8N are to closly packed together that you need to used slots 1 & 3 instead of the recommended 1 & 2!!!!!
