Network install (LAN)

Hi, just a quick question! is there anyway of installing a programme over a LAN, so all computers can use it?? without a server!

Any help would be great! thankyou!

What program?
Some programs support for this but we need to know what you aere trying to do.For example if it is a game most gamwes have this feature in there software.

its a parental filter. I ive installed it on both computers now, but for future reference how would i install it over a network?

If you are refering to installing it on one PC and scanning your LAN with that one program it is done in many cases but with a big expense. They have gateway hardware that can be installed as your first defense that will scan all traffic coming and going through your LAN.You can also set one PC up and use ICS,that will be your gateway and can probably get software to scan traffic.It can be done but it is involved and expensive.You have done the best thing with filtering ,spyware, antivirus etc.software. Install on each PC in your LAN.there are a lot of great free software to take care of all the hasles of surfing the Net.

thanx alot! the parental filter filters out every single adult website! its gr8! and plus its free, and people say nothing in life is free! ....well there wrong.
