Video card for gaming PC?

meh if u can actually buy cards made by the graphic procssors, not these purchasers of their technology if u got dough get one made by at or radeon not assmebled by a third-party, unless its bfg

looks like crap yes, but its fuction that is more important. A giant heatsink like that helps out alot.

Yeah, Leadtek's cooling solutions are crazy! They use a huge copper heatsink on hte front and back! And the ram chips are cooled by copper heatsinks too. Its just the plastic bezel looks kinda cheesy.

Yeah I have heard a bit about this new x800 XL and it supposedly has 16 pipes and is going to only be 300 or so. As a matter of fact, here's some info for you that I think you'll find very interesting and helpful.

Read all 8 pages, it will really give you a better outlook on the whole x800 series and help you in your decision.

Hmm, my favorite company is eVGA, who makes nVidia. This thread is full of ATi (which is a great company, but I prefer nVidia) Here is a great nVidia card. This will do anything, and can beat all ATi cards except for the overpriced x850XT (especially if you Overclock this card, which you can do easily)

Now, If you want the Best on the Market RIGHT NOW then go a bit higher on budget and get this monster. BTW, this is BFG, who also make great cards, and this one doesn't have that stupid cooling they have on their retail versions: http://www.gameve.com/gve/store/productdetails.aspx?sku=VC-BFG-006

Enjoy!

:D

The cooling that BFG has on their other retail versions arent that bad. I would know, I have the regular 6800, and the cooling is perfectly fine...

Oh BTW, what are the OC'ing stages that you gave to me on a previous thread? I asked you for some OC'ing stages and you posted them but I forgot. LOL :p:D:)
