can anyone see that over the next few months or year that the standard requirements for graphics in games will be more than 64mb? as i am worried that when Battlefield 2 comes out next summer the min graphics requirements mite be as high as 128mb? is this likely?

welll the games out the now require a 64mb card (farcry, new medal of honor..so on)

wouldn't surprise me if the standard moved on.

even if you have the requirements for the game remember they are minimals, to run the game well you should have more than the specs they give.

In order to run DOOM 3 you need 64MB and that is just to get it running. Quality low and framerates very low...almost unplayable.

To run at Ultra Quality you need a 512MB graphic card. 512MB!!! What!?!

I have a X800 Pro 256DDR3 and I can only see High Quality, Ultra Quality settings result in 7-10FPS. That sucks!

So, NO to your question...I can see 128MB being the standard.
