Monitor Keyboard Mouse Speakers are separate, I have them.

Now; I have questions, which is the most important part of this long post (thanks to those of you who really do bother to read this, I really appreciate it)

1. Most important: Do all those parts fit? does my Mobo support everything?

2. Will that case PSU work well? This computer will be on for the majority of the day, it will be a server for the most part, so I need it to be reliable.

3. I'm a real noob on CD/DVD drives. Will the one I ordered be able to handle all Cd's and Dvd's and all installations. I would also like to be able to burn stuff on Cd's/DVD's, so it would help if that would happen. I can add about 15 or so more dollars to the drive to make it better.

4. There is a chance I will be able to go over my 800 dollar limit, because of awards tommorow for a competition I'm in. What part should I improve most? (preferably not the video card, unless it's crucial). My new budget will probably be around 900.

5. Is that a good setup? Lol.

And please post any other comments that you have.

Please people, I usually don't ask a lot from anyone in these forums, but this computer is really important to me, so I would really like feedback.

Thanks a ton.

Nice server setup. The Proc should work on the nice nForce 3 mobo. If you have 900 bucks to spend, get more ram and downgrade the video card. If it's just a server, get something cheap like a GeForce2 MX 200/400.

IMHO, the Seagate drive is a mistake. You should be going with Maxtor.. but other then that, a-okay.

Well for servers it doesnt really matter (the transfer rates arent that noticable). And becides you probably want the quiet.

Well, keep in mind, I do plan to use this computer for some other tasks, and plan to play games on it in like may when I get a nice video card for it.

Can you reccomend me a specific CD/DVD drive from newegg please?

i hear all the time that maxtor has problems adn seagate is the way to go, but thats an opinion, as long as it has a name ive heard and high rpms ur a-ok

CD-R/W/DVD-R/W. Basically I want to be able to do anything with the CD/DVD, for a rather low price.

blah blah said:

A pretty bad advice move.

Go with Maxtor. It has better performance and better access times.

Eh. I havent had any problems with my Seagate, but I guess other have their own opinions...
