Well I have the up most respect for David Lindon and his Forum....

I also understand the reason behind his (no sig policy) ....I have been to some Forum's , where they had so much crap in the member's profile...You could'nt tell what was being said in the thread....

There was so much clutter, i just said "forget this place" cuz..It completely degraded the Board....i left that site real fast.

"So everyone must understand" and this goes for most newer member's
here....Don't get up tight about the <SIG> thing.

He just does'nt want his nice site to be mucked up w/huge sigs & stuff
It's been said before, & i totally agree...It make it look messy !!

Yah, kinda like people who have nice cars & a nice paint job....And then go and put all these stupid sticker's on it.

Yeah. I like the forum. It's simple, and Easy to browse around on.

I don't like them forums that have loads of members, and loads of big pics in their avatar and sig. It does make the place look messy, and It's not as fun.

I agree with the fact that in some cases it makes the site look a little less approachable like torrent sites for instance where people have massive sigs and it almost does seem a little intimidating.

I do think small moderated sigs do make the place look a little nicer.

But the thing i like about these forums is the approachable enviroment etc.

So if sigs were to be introduced i think they should be kept small and only to represent the users username or personal website.
