Cdrom Drive invisible

My Cdrom drive is invisible in Windows Explorer or any other program. I know it works cause I can boot from it. Help!!

I'm not sure, can you see the drive in disk management.
start
right click my computer
manage
disk management

had this before. It is a virus and spyware infestation. These trojans hide in the volume files, and the go to work. DO a clean install, and get behind a firewall, and use FireFox 1.0 instead of Internet Explorer. GL!

never seen a virus do that...but I guess anything is possible. Any idea which virus it is?
