Go AMD64 3200+ or 3400+. That will beat the crap outta the P4, even at those P4 speed. Plus, the AMD chip will be cheaper, and will be 64bit for the upcoming new wave of 64bit technology.

i was thinking about asus, i noticed that the 3400+ is 220, and the pentium 4 3.2 ghz is 218 so does it really outperform the 3.2 by much?
