Hey just bought this computer 2 weeks ago. Built it with a friend. Was just wondering if this is a good pc or not.

CPU - AMD 64 3400+ (2.4ghz) Clawhammer socket 754
MOBO - ASUS K8N-E Deluxe socket 754
MEM - 512mb 3200 DDR
Vid Card - ATI Radeon 9200 (my bros giving me a FX5700 for xmas)
HDD - Maxtor 80gb 8mb 7200rpm
FDD - x1
CDR + RW - Benq 52x32x52
DVD RW - can't remember the specs but somewhere at the top.
400 watt power
Case

Anyways this all cost $840

Plus im planning on getting another 80gb HDD & another stick of 512mb so that will end up with a total of $1000.

So what do you guys think??

i think its good but the graphic card you need to change it put the fx5700 when he gives you the the graphic card.

You might want to consider upgrading your 400 watt power supply though to feed that hungry AMD 64 3400

YAYA! Yeah, the psu might need to be upgraded to a 480-500w psu to be safe... its always ok to have more power than you need. :)

Pretty good price. Just upgrade that video card.

And that's a freaking awesome hard-drive (to get at a new enemy here).
