Okay this is my first post so be kind... 
At work we have a rack of a bunch of servers. It has two domain controllers running dns. It is one domain. We recently had to rename a server because of a naming issue we ran into. This server holds all our applications for easier remote installations. One problem we are now running into is that when teachers are using office and using clip art it is pulling that from the server. The only problem is is that the server is now named differently and they can no longer use the clipart. Now I was wondering if a dns entry would solve this problem to redirect them to the new server instead of having to reinstall Office to 400 computers?
